Chernomorets – an excellent place for full relaxation on the Black Sea coast

The resort village of Chernomorets (St. Nicola) is situated on a picturesque peninsula at the southmost end of the Burgas Bay. It is located only 24km to the south of Burgas and 5км from the ancient town of Sozopol. Chernomorets, which, combines all the beauties of the seacoast, is a unique place with its five beaches, separated by incredibly beautiful rock bluffs. The high temperatures of the air and the water offer opportunity to the tourists to spend more time close to nature and to enjoy it fully. Just one kilometre from the village you can find the lovely Vromos bay, very often favoured by the lovers of the underwater fishing, while one of the most splendid beaches of the Burgas seacoast - the "Gradina" campsite, known as the King's Beach - is situated just two kilometres to the south. The beach, famous for its cleanliness and beauty, attracts thousands of foreign and Bulgarian tourists each year.

Architecture

Chernomorets is characterised by small nice-looking houses, guest houses and small hotels. The low-storey housing prevails, and this creates atmosphere of serenity, favourable for recreation. The village has a nice tradition - to build and maintain marvellous flower gardens. There are beautiful flower beds and shrubs in front of every home, restaurant and hotel.

Infrastructure for recreation and entertainment

Chernomorets is developing and more and more places of entertainment appear each and every year: restaurants, pubs, shops, etc.

If you scroll the streets of the village you'll find a great number of cosy cafes with excellent panoramic view towards the surrounding scenery. There are a lot of Bulgarian cuisine restaurants – taverns, offering to their visitors a great variety of traditional dishes. The lovers of the lively nightlife will also be satisfied by the open-air and covered disco clubs and bars with night show-programmes.

The Beach of Chernomorets

Chernomorets offers excellent conditions for fishing, surfing, diving, banana riding, scuba diving, sea scooter and jet-boat driving, tours with yachts, boats, catamarans, etc. There are waterplay areas for children with an air castle and a slide, among others. Chernomorets is a favourite place for families with little children, as the sea here is shallow and calm. The east part of the beach is rocky, and is preferred by nudists, by people who love diving or fishing.

The beach of the Chernomorets campsite is near to the village – at a distance of 1,5km – and is an ideal place for surfing. Chernomorets is a lovely place, combining magnificent nature, modern tourist base, and the hospitality of the local people. It is a calm and peaceful resort, good for sea holidays and full relaxation.
